Ready for Summer Camp
Think your child is ready for summer camp? Like a boot camp, summer campsĀ instill positive qualities in your children. Although you may be ready to send your child to an overnight summer camp, your child may not be. Convincing a child that summer camp is good for them, and that they will have great experiences there, is like trying to convince a child to eat peas because they’re good for them. If you’re not sure how your child will react to long-term overnight camp’s, it is a good idea to make sure they have a few overnight experiences before sending them off to camp.
Think your child’s two young for summer camp? Some camps have been known to accept children as young as three years old. Many kids can enjoy a day camp instead of an overnight camp, this is a great alternative for kids who are anxious about sleepping away from home. They still get to enjoy the days activities and outdoor arts, but are able to sleep at home.
